Corneilles - Issue #5
This is the tale of two girls who come from a faraway place in time and space. Somewhere between fear and fascination, they find themselves in the depths of a forest. This photobook combines photography, literature, and watercolour to unravel the mysteries of a love story and a socially forbidden desire. It questions education and gets swept up in the beauty of the primitive, with a narrative in which every picture plays a main role. Corneilles is a quest, the brief story of two crows who face their past and the memories of what they were, and what people wanted them to become. It’s the story of a flight, a story of dresses and leaves desperately flapping their wings.
